Description

The blue trail starts as a gravel road off the main road into Rock Hawk (Wallace Dam Road). The Green Trail continues on the opposite side of Wallace Dam road. The gravel ends at a parking area, and then the trail becomes more of a doubletrack as it heads east. At the beginning of the trail, you'll pass through the 3D archery range. Don't head down any of the enticing singletracks towards the targets.

The easternmost point ends at another parking area. Shortly after that, you'll come to the waterfoul viewing platform overlooking a wetland. The return trip west is actually an easy, pleasant singletrack. There's a swamp just to the north, but the trail itself is not in the swamp, so it should be pretty dry unless it has rained recently.

The Blue Trail ends at Wallace Dam Road. Left (south) takes you back to the start of the Blue Trail, or continue straight across Wallace Dam road onto the Yellow Trail.

The 24 to 25 Shortcut will take you back to the first parking area.
