From the trailhead, you'll start with a long descent before crossing a creek and having to climb out of the bottom and over a ridge, which leads its way to marker "A", then keep right. Riders will then cross a road and hang a left leading to marker "B" where you'll take another left leading to a series of descents to creek crossings followed by long, heart-pumping climbs. Cross the next road and you'll be at marker "C," you'll continue down until you reach the bottom and marker "D."

From here, you'll start your climb back up past marker "E" and across a road back to marker "B" to complete the loop. This trail is a stark contrast to the other trails in the area as it is comprised of mostly hardwoods, some of which are very sparse and in these areas, the understory tends to be tall grass like that of a meadow or field.
