This trail travels west along the ridgeline to pass the summit of Yeranos. It's especially vivid in the spring and summer when rich grasses and flowers cover the slopes. In the autumn the gilt of surrounding fields compliments the shape and shadows of the area's mountains. In October you can even sample red and orange haws or pick up rosehips to carry back for an evening tea. You'll also probably come across donkeys, which are nowadays very rare in Armenia.
