Description

This trail climbs from the end of Sweetwater Trail L1 to switchback up to the unmarked trail that drops down to the "gorge." Consider ditching your bike and take the trail to the bottom. There is a rope attached to a tree to help with the scramble down and back up. You’ll be greeted to a beautiful waterfall and pool for a great place to rest before climbing out of the gorge.

Back on the Sweetwater Trail L2, Continue climbing out of the canyon along a less shaded trail with more rocks scattered on the trail. As you climb you'll be rewarded with surrounding views during the climb. Eventually you'll reach the high-point and enjoy a fun descent before a final rise brings Trail L2 to an end at a well-established doubletrack. Get ready for a nice, breezy ride down the road to a gate.
