Description

This is a super fun downhill starting off the western end of the Lobo Trail #878. It is a great way to add a little to your Treasure Mountain Trail #565 ride and get a little extra climbing in on Lobo Road FS402. The downhill is fast with some chunky spots and plenty of fun switchbacks.

Note that the CDT technically continues for about a mile past the junction with the Lobo Trail #878 before coming to the wilderness boundary where bikes are not allowed. It is not recommended to ride this section of the trail, but rather to utilize the southern half to make a fun loop with the Lobo Trail #878 and Lobo Road FS402.
