Description

This is a typical Marin fire road (i.e. dusty, some gravel) with some steep pitches that's doable on a CX bike. It's open to ride in either direction on preferably a CX/gravel bike or hardtail. It makes a nice downhill heading north or a tough climb heading south away from Lake Lagunitas and the Lake Lagunitas Loop Trail (as mapped).

Rock Spring is fast, don't want to miss the turn onto Rocky Ridge, look for the logs on the left.

Rode down from Rocky Ridge - trail in good shape, tempting to go fast but to find the clean lines needed to keep speed. Parts are pretty steep. 1mi
