Need to Know
This is not a ride you want to do after it has rained as it gets pretty slimey in sections.
Also the nearby town of Dripping Springs has lots of great places to grab food before and after your ride. In particular, a great local favorite is
Thyme and Dough, restaurant/bistro/bakery! It's super good food and laid back environment.
Description
This is a handbuilt, shreddy, fun, sustainable singletrack trail designed and maintained by the student riders of the middle school and high school mountain bike team of Dripping Springs. The objective in creating and making this trail open to all riders is to promote mountain bike skills, fun, development, excellence, teamwork, etiquette, and respect for the family, community and the outdoors.
The trail spans various upper and lower parts of the Dripping Springs Ranch property and is open to all riders.
After making your way past the main entrance, follow the dirt road around to the lower area of the property until you see the "Dripping Springs Ranch MTB Trail" trailhead info board and sign. Right after the sign, you'll see parking and the main trailhead on the left.
The ride does not have much signage but the trail is well-worn and easily navigated. The ride is designed to be done clockwise. It's pretty much impossible to get lost since the property and loop are very compact; just follow your
