Overview

This is the complete trail system that starts from the main trailhead, heads along the Upland Flatwoods Section to the South Loop, then to the North Loop and back through the Upland Flatwoods Section to the parking lot at the main trailhead.

Need to Know

This is very well-suited for a beginner (especially the South Loop).

Description

This is an awesome trail system with three sections: Upland Flatwoods Section, North Loop, and South Loop. The Upland Flatwoods Section connects you from the main trailhead to the other two trails. The South Loop is very flat and well-suited for a beginner. The North Loop has more climbs and descents with great views. There is also a parking area near the beginning of the South Loop.

Don't miss the North Loop. Ride up the gravel road across two low-water bridges before diving into the woods on the right. The South Loop leaves out of the parking lot at the trailhead. The Upland Flatwoods Section is across the road from the trailhead.

These trails are very fun and fast. It's only about 1,400 feet of climbing in 13.5 miles. There are two trailheads for further loop options.

Good trails. It can be ridden in any direction. Park off Anderson Hollow Rd. 38.06407145636325, -92.61393070210777. Be careful if the creek is high — 3h 00m

Took Flatwood to North Loop great trail, rocky, techy and earn some downhill flow by a few climbs. Blue at speed but no green riding 9.6mi — 1h 30m

First time here. We ended up only doing north loop. We're newbs but definitely enjoyed this! Lots of uphill at the beginning but flowy at the end. 4.6mi — 1h 00m

A pretty boring system that doesn't seem to see many riders - the challenge came from poor maintenance and not technicality or speed 14.2mi — 1h 00m
