Family Friendly Several picnic tables near the beginning of the trail and easy access to a shallow creek that is often flowing.

Description

This short trail follows Silva Creek through downtown Silver City and connects to the San Vicente Trail network. You can access the trail from the parking area near Gila Hike and Bike.

Follow it along the creek and through a couple of picnic areas before hanging a left and crossing a bridge that will take you over the creek. Here, you'll find a more technical and off camber section of trail that snakes its way down the side of a hill and ultimately ends with another creek crossing under the Highway 90 bridge.

While much of the trail is not highly technical, there are a few large rock/boulder-accented areas along the second half of the ride that are both technical and off camber.
