Description

The lower portion of this trail is one of many options between the main entry area of Alvarado Park and the ridgeline trail connecting to northernmost Wildcat Canyon Park. As such, the turns are too numerous to describe and name. Rather set out by dead reckoning and have fun.

At the center of this trail is a short, steep, singletrack connector between the ridgeline trail and the trails on the south slope above the landscaped portion of Alvarado Park. Heading north general angle right as you climb and check your GPS and MTB Project mobile app occasionally to see how your treasure hunt for the connector is going. Heading south proceed to the end of the ridge and then drop right on the connector.

The connector is what suggests this trail as intermediate. Otherwise, it is in the easy category. So you can hike-a-bike or portage that part if you are otherwise up for the rest.
