Take this fire road as a much more interesting route instead of Guard Camp Road (FSR #87), or just use it as part of another loop. It's similar riding to Stone Grave Ridge Forest Road FS87A, but a little more scenic as it takes the ridgeline. North to south (as mapped) is the better way to ride this, as you get to bomb the downhill at the end.

At the north end, across from the WMA buildings, turn west on a side gravel road, then bear left.

At the south end, at the intersection of Browns Bottom Road (FSR #92B) and Pumping Station Road, go north past the metal gate onto the fire road.
