“Singletrack trail on the north side of Oyster Creek, Thunderbird stretches from the pedestrian bridge to Murphy Rd.
”
Always closed after a rain to let the trails dry out; but since this trail mostly lies in the sunshine, it dries out MUCH faster than other trail systems in Houston.
Description
This is a two-way trail. Many begin at the pedestrian bridge that stretches across Oyster Creek, from Oyster Cove Dr. to Camel Valley Dr.
From there, you'll pass behind the backyards of houses that line Oyster Creek, and stay on the off-camber slope. There are a few sharp up and down sections where you have to keep your speed up to make it to the top.
Continue on the singletrack trail as it leads under the four lane bridge (Murphy Rd.) and then connect to South Spur and the rest of the Oyster Creek Trails.
