Description

Starting from the first intersection headed east from Juniper Road, take the trail to the right. A switchback and some climbing will lead you to another intersection. Stay straight to continue onto the trailhead.

As you curve around the hillside, the lake comes into view and there is an outlook if you'd like to stop. The trail continues to skirt the side of the hill before making a switchback and a sharp descent. There is one section with a sign warning riders to walk. Towards the bottom, there will be an intersection that leads to a short spur loop. Stay right all the way to get back to the trailhead.
