Description

This trail is a short but varied ride along the base of Cerro San Luis (also known as Madonna Mountain). If you ride the loop in the "clockwise" direction, you'll start with a fairly steep climb, followed by undulating singletrack through both open and tree-covered paths, and then end with a steep, technical, rock-garden descent back to the entrance.

There are many branches along this trail that will take you to other trails, such as the "M" trail (which leads up to the large letter M on the side of the mountain), or the fire road that leads up to the peak and "Rock Garden" trail. Most branches are labeled with helpful sign posts to keep you on the correct path.

Some tight turns that sneak up on ya but overall good flow and a few technical challenges to keep on you on your toes

Ride around the mtn & it adds a bit of distance. Good technical sections with some chunk but we did it on hardtails. Conditions were dry; not chalky 4.1mi — 1h 00m
