Description

This is likely the only true black diamond trail in the park. It starts out at the top okay, but soon heads down and turns into not so much a trail, but a dried up ravine consisting almost entirely of small to mid-sized loose rocks that make up the "trail". It's tough to get down, but even harder to get back up it. The only saving grace is that it's short, and not so steep you'll fall over trying it.

The good news is if you get to the bottom you can take the moderately technical but fun Laurel Grove Brook Trail out. You can also continue across Laurel Brook here, and connect to the western end of Little Falls Trail on the other side of the creek.

Blue trail heading down to Laurel Brook. About a third of the rocks here are loose, making this sketchy, challenging.
