Need to Know

The blue-blazed Intermediate Trail shares several sections with the Beginner Trail before it branches off for more mileage. Pay attention to the signs at intersections and you shouldn't have any trouble following the route.

Description

The Intermediate Trail crosses the paved road to reach the hillier section of the park. The trail winds up and down the sides of the mound that used to be a landfill before it was covered in dirt. It's heavily forested now, so it just looks like a hill covered in trees. The trail designers use the hill to their advantage to give you plenty of short steep climbs, including an uphill rock garden.

Watch for an optional loop called 'Root Loop'. It lives up to its name!

The trail includes a number of short wooden bridges but they are only a challenge if wet.

Overall, this is a fun trail to ride. There are plenty of curves and short climbs and drops to keep it interesting.

Awesome trail with some good flow and a bunch of hills. Only a few spots with roots.
