Need to Know

$5 gate fee if you're not a Texas Parks Pass Holder. There are restrooms and you'll cross the road a few times.

Description

A hidden gem of a trail, Eisenhower State Park has a great trail system. With lots of rocks and blind corners, it's best to ride this one outside of peak hiking hours. It has several technical creek crossings consisting of giant slab rocks. Bring and extra tube, because this trail is chunky!
Trail is an out and back and will give you 8 miles total if you do the Armadillo Hill Trail. Park near the swim beach and enter the trail at trail post 14 and ride to trail post 1 at the end of the Armadillo Hill Trail. Turn around and head back. There is a parking lot at trail post 1 as well but it rides better starting at 14.
