Open April to November. The trails at Spring Mountain are multi-use so give way to hikers, runners, dogs, and bird watchers. The land managers request that you visit
Bikereg.com and register for a $0 trail pass prior to riding at Spring Mountain.
One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.
Description
The A-frame is the 'warm-up' DH trail at Spring Mountain. It begins with an optional small gap jump to a ladder bridge onto a large rock face (an optional quick lefthand option to a 3-4' drop) followed by flowy, rocky berms.
Cross over the access road into some tight, technical rocky turns under the zip-lines to a fun rock drop (which is rollable).
After the rock drop, the trail splits into two short options: 1) a small lefthand berm to a gap jump to a righthand berm and over the pit via the ladder bridge or 2) head right into a fast, rocky section and then through the pit.
The trails comes back together to a section called the "Bee-hive" with several fast line choices including access to the infamous "Chad Kelly Drop" and then into some fast, rocky singletrack.
Cross over the access road again and drop into a fast shoot to the rock jump into a technical left-hander.
Cross over the access road one last time and finish through some fun berms, small table tops, and an optional hip jump and finally drop into the lower parking lot.
