Description

The southern end of the trail leaves Rim Trail to the right, and descends down to a creek crossing via a bridge. At this point, there is a difficult rock garden and the climb begins with five switchbacks, all but the last are easily rideable. After the last switchback, look to the right for a viewpoint. After the viewpoint is a short climb up to Amanda's Trail.
