Description

This is a well-maintained, but exposed, fire road that climbs from the parking area to the ridge line and the Bay Area Ridge Trail. You'll get great views of the Benicia Bridge and the Suison Bay from the top.

The first half of the trail, up to Woodland Trail, is a pleasant climb. The rest of the climb is brutal. I highly recommend taking Woodland Trail to get to the ridge.
