Overview

A loop of flowing natural singletrack with logging trail connections. Open in the summer when conditions are not muddy and open in the winter for fat bikes with a machine-packed trail. Ride it as a loop or connect to the Wildcat Loop (West).

Need to Know

Also maintained during the winter and is a great winter fat bike loop.

Description

Start from the trailhead off Hwy 70 and take the left (east) entrance and climb the hill on Logging Road (East) to a left turn to enter the East Trail singletrack. After just over a mile, the flowing singletrack brings you back to the Main Logging Road. Take the logging road left (south) and follow the signs. If you are climbing on the logging trail you are going in the right direction.

You can take a right for the Wildcat Loop (West) on the Scullenberger Lake Trail or stay on the doubletrack and go past the logging section and take a left onto the Flowing Fenander Trail singletrack that will loop you around toward 70 and the initial section of the East Trail. (This section is hard to see so keep your eyes open for a pole without a sign, you'll see a lake to the left before the turn into the trail.)

Flowing Fenander Trail is flowing with some punchy hills and brings you back to the section of trail that you started on and back to the trailhead.

Nice trail. Steep up at the beginning on the east trail and then it gives you a break in the way back to the car! Enjoyed stirring up deer as well! 3.4mi
