This ride passes many popular sites on Lookout Mountain including the Incline Railway, Cravens House, and Ruby Falls.

Use extra caution at road crossings - the curvy road up the mountain limits visibility.

The ride begins at the base of Lookout Mountain near St. Elmo. Pull off in the parking lot off of Ochs Highway and cross the road to begin on Guild Trail.

About a mile into the ride, the Guild Trail crosses another highway and runs through the Ruby Falls parking lot. Continue straight and follow the "BIKE ROUTE" signs.

Further up the mountain, the trails forks with the Upper Truck Trail. Take a left to head east towards Cravens House or take a right to head west towards Covenant College (as mapped). The section of trail that heads east is partially on-road. Make sure to bear right when you reach the road and follow it until you reach Cravens House.

The Hardy Trail continues off-road past Cravens House until it reaches the Scenic Highway and ends. If you take a right at the fork and head west, you'll end up on a slightly more technical trail that ends underneath Covenant College.

This ride stays to the right initially, doing an out-and-back to the end of the Upper Truck Trail and then bears right (east) at the fork to continue to the northern end of the Upper Truck Trail. It then continues onto the Hardy Trail for a quick out-and-back, before heading back to the forked intersection to retrace the Guild Trail back to the start.
