Description

The White Ranch south side trails are the parks' best trails, however if your looking to add on some miles to the southern trails, Rawhide makes a great addition to your ride.

The trail starts with great flow on a smooth trail surface with great corners and little to no rock. After 1 mile of ripping your way down to the trails lowest point you are greeted with a buzz kill, a super steep and rocky few tight switchbacks. Unless you have your trail skills dialed you are probably hiking your bike. There is another hike-a-bike section almost identical to the first a few more minutes up the trail. After climbing for a bit you come across the second downhill segment which includes some great drops and tech sections, but flows very well. One more less technical climb, followed by a fast and flowing descent.

The singletrack portion of Rawhide ends as you intersect with Rawhide Trail Doubletrack. At this point you'll take a right and follow the well-maintained dirt road back up to the other the upper parking lot.
