Family Friendly This trail can be taken at any pace. It is not too steep, although it is not boring.

The main gate on the entry road (Roxy Ann Road) is typically open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the spring and summer and closes at 5 p.m. in fall and winter. If this gate is closed, you may continue into the park without a vehicle. You may park along the entry road, the electric substation, or the designated parking lot further up the road as long as there is accessibility for maintenance vehicles and you are not blocking gates. Please be aware that quarry trucks use this road system.

Need to Know

Goathead county. Tubeless tires recommended, otherwise be prepared to deal with hundreds of goatheads if you stray from the trail whatsoever.

Description

With nice long switchbacks, this trail packs a punch on Roxy Ann. The berms are well made, and there are a few obstacles on the trail. Beware of goatheads.
