Overview

Bring your climbing legs for this one! The ride starts with 1,058 feet of relentless climbing straight up the fall line. After the climb, take in the view and then bomb down Midway Trail to Meadowlark Trail all the way back to the bottom!

Need to Know

Occasionally in early season, the corridor is marked for a bear crossing. You can either divert to the road, or watch for bears and be careful.

Description

Start at the bike shop and look up where the chairlifts go... that is where you'll end up—1,058 feet above where you are starting! Follow the switchbacks wherever you can because you'll need your energy at the top.

There are loose rocks, wet spots in the early season, and places where it feels like you can't make it, but you can! When you get to the plateau near the top where the Mogul Mouse lift offloads, you can follow that trail to avoid the last 60' of climbing... but who wants to do that??? Climb on up and take in the views and drink some water!

After celebrating surviving the climb, lower that seat post and get ready for some serious speed. Fun water bars for jumping and long sight lines make this descent fun. Beware of ruts from rain, however, because they can cause a serious crash! Also, check your speed going into the turns, as they are pretty loose and not banked.

Stop by Rumrunners for a dip about halfway down, then continue on Meadowlark Trail all the way to the bottom.
