This is a great loop that includes some relentless climbs and two of the best descents in Georgia. To be used for the first annual Singlespeed Militia's Singlespeed Smackdown in September, 2018.

This ride starts at Mulberry Gap Mountain Bike Getaway.

Leave MBG, and take a left on Conasauga Rd. Take the first right onto CCC Camp Road and get ready to climb—2,100 ft. in about 6 miles to be exact. Stay on CCC Camp Road past the overlook all the way to where it ends at Conasauga Line Rd.

Go right and continue on the rolling climbs to Mountaintown Creek Trail. Get ready for a long descent on a primitive trail with over 10 stream crossings! Descend the entire trail, ending up on Gates Chapel Rd.

Go right for just a hundred yards or so, and take a hard right up Bear Creek Road (FS 241). Follow the dirt road all the way to the parking lot. But don't go through the lot. Instead, look to your right for a small singletrack trail entrance and start the Bear Creek Trail. Climb (and walk) the trail until it connects with the P1 connector between upper and lower Bear Creek.

Go left and rejoin lower Bear Creek Trail with another left. Continue to Pinhoti 1 and take a right to start climbing. Ride all of P1 to Holly Creek Gap Road (FS 90) and go left for a couple hundred yards and then take a hard right onto FS90B. The sign for FS90B is actually a bit down the road so it's not immediately visible.

Climb FS90B until it dead ends at the parking area and go right onto Pinhoti 2. Ride P2 all the way back to Conasauga Rd. and then go right to return to Mulberry Gap.
