Description

Mineshaft is Galena's biggest jump line trail. It features berms, jumps and rollers. Best ridden in the downhill direction. Access to the top of the trail is tough with no good climbing trail available. Be aware of fast downhill riders if you are riding up Mineshaft.

Hiking is not recommended on Mineshaft due to downhill bikers high rate of speed.

Like all of the singletrack trails at Galena, the Mineshaft Trail is open to two-way traffic and shared use by hikers, horseback riders, runners, and bicyclists. Watch for and yield to others - on this and all trails. All Galena singletrack trails are closed to E-Bikes.
