Family Friendly A small park is located along the trail that has a small playground for kids, as well as unlimited beach access to the calm clear waters of Sail Bay.

Description

For the purposes of this description the trail begins at Crown Point Park, but it's important to note that this trail can be accessed from multiple spots around the bay. Since parking around the neighborhoods in this area can be limited, access is most readily available at Crown Point Park and Mission Point-Mission Bay Park with multiple parking areas at each location.

The trail is typical of most area beach walks with a paved two lane trail throughout the entire ride. This trail is fairly straightforward and easy to follow. It follows the beach around the bay for nearly 5.5 miles until it reaches its terminus at Mission Point-Mission Bay Park. The trail travels between the unspoiled beaches of Sail Bay and mostly vacation homes. Overall this is a nice trail that sees plenty of traffic anytime of the day, week, and year. It's a great place to get outside, whether that's on two feet or on two wheels.
