Need to Know

The Rabbit Pond trail is primarily a hiking and back country ski trail. There are some difficult rocky sections to navigate. There are plans to buff this out to make it more ride-able, but not likely until the fall.

Description

This is an extremely fun hand and machine built singletrack trail that climbs from the entrance of the Half & Half Glades, then switches back between the Oak Ridge and Moxam ski trails, before ultimately climbing out to 46er just below the lift shack.

Here there is a "table rock" that makes a great place to relax before you continue on. From here you can proceed back down the way you came (which is an amazing ride), or continue down to Rabbit Pond and the Ski Bowl Connector or Raymond Brook Downhill then back to the Ski Bowl. The Rabbit Pond trail is primitive and a bit tricky in sections.
