This is an awesome and difficult trail but it doesn't see much maintenance. Start at the gravel climb to the House o' Dreams. There is parking at the Friendship dorm next to the trail.

Near the beginning of the trail, there is a sign for the Longleaf Pine Project. Follow the singletrack that travels up next to the sign. The trail starts with some nice steep singletrack with a drop or two. The singletrack continues and turns into a fire road with steep climbs and descents.

After following the trail for a bit, you'll find a bridge over a small creek. Here, the trail becomes tight, twisty singletrack, and includes some technical features. The singletrack dumps out at an amphitheater, and you can follow the gravel road down to the road. At the road, turn right to climb up the hill to the Friendship dorm.
