Description

The Orange Trail is the longest of the loops at the New London Tech Trail system. It is fun in both directions and has several sections that flow and allow you to carry speed very well.

The trail starts from the trailhead parking lot and has a few intersections with the roads that allow some bailout options if needed. At all of the road crossings, the trail picks up directly across the road so it's easy the stay on track. There are two yellow-blazed trails that intersect the trail as well, which lead back to the road.

The trail features a couple sections of rollers that can be jumped, a "slick-rock-esque" part (not difficult), and a tight switchback climb/descent (clockwise/CCW).

Flowy trail with a few decent climbs and downhill runs. Feels like a cross country trail.

Fun little trail. Easy to maintain speed throughout. The rock section is slightly technical. 3.9mi — 0h 58m
