Description

The Lower Loop is fast with a gentle climb in either direction but with the rounded/banked switchbacks it's more fun clockwise. Set out to the west and enjoy the views of the continental divide as you climb.

It's a pretty short and quick loop but fun enough to do more than once in either direction. You'll hear I-70 traffic noise on the whole loop, just close your eyes and imagine that it's the ocean.
