Need to Know

Biking is not permitted in Talcott Mountain State Park, so you'll need to walk your bikes to get from this trail to Montevideo Road or the trails of the West Hartford Reservoir.

Description

Beginning just off Montevideo Road, this trail begins with a series of super steep and rocky switchbacks that eventually flatten out to a thin singletrack that weaves between the trees. A sharp right turn leads back into another very steep descent through rocks and roots. The trail then flattens out as it continues towards Nod Way with a moderate level of difficulty.
