Description

Starting from the BST: Flight Park to Mike Weir trail, the Lexi and Ethan Trail climbs steadily but at a mild grade. After a couple of switchbacks, the undulating trail pops in and out of the shade created by scrub oak. Soon the Red Rock Climbing Crag becomes visible, and then the trail passes over the top of the crag. The trail contours along the hillside, and passes below a new neighborhood. The scenery opens up and the road noise increases greatly! After a few more turns, the trail ends at a T intersection with the Red Potato Hill Trail. The trail in general is a little wider than usual and smooth. There are few roots and rocks but since the trail is new, the surface is not well-packed as of fall 2018.
