Barnard Mountain Road runs north of the summit connecting the The Broken Road with Orin Falls Trail. Like many of the trails in Katahdin Woods, this is a former logging road.
There is a hiking trail to the summit a short distance past the intersection with the The Broken Road. You can find details for this on Hiking Project here.
