Overview
The beginning of the mountain biking route starts from Norashen village, Ararat province. On the route, in the gorge, a two-kilometer trail is missing, but it is possible to cross it by riding with a GPS.
The Ararat region is famous for a mountainous climate, lush gardens, and yards full of local varieties of flowers. The people are avid gardeners.
The biking route is unique, because it goes between two ranges of mountains. The dry, semi-desert climate, the sunlit mountains, and open pastures are picturesque like from a scene in a film. Occasional small rivers save the uninterrupted "work" of nature.

Description

Flora
The mountainous part of the province occupies the slopes of the Geghama Mountains and the mountains of Urts and Yeranos. Here, the forest is protected by separate islets, which was founded by the King of Armenia Khosrov Kotak in the 4th century. Khosrov Reserve is located here.
The Ararat Valley is another world; the world of alpine flower meadows, the royal forest of Khosrov, and mountainous springs giving way to pomegranates and sunflowers. The meadows, green valleys, and towering cliffs give the terrain an indescribable beauty. Here you'll more commonly find hawthorn. Carnation hunting is banned.
Fauna
Fauna of the Ararat Province is rich because it is part of the Khosrov State Reserve. This climate is suitable for cattle, Caucasian bear, wild pig, rabbit, fox, hedgehog, jackal, and squirrel. There are diverse birds, reptiles, insects, and fish in the rivers.
The region is rich in fish farms. Many species of fish are the objects of sport hunting.
The Armenian red fish, Ishkhan, and Sevan beghlu types of fishes are native. The last two are registered in the Red Book of Armenia.
