Overview
All of the most rugged trails in Nine Mile on this loop. All rocks are as nature left them...no man-made features except for the berm corners on
Ho Chi Minh trail.
Need to Know
Trail pass is required. $4 for a daily, $25 for a season pass, kids age 11 and under are free. All trail fees collected stay at Nine Mile to pay for operations and maintenance.
Description
Start at the end of the
Advanced Loop Connector and head right up towards
Flower Trail. Cross the XC ski trail and continue up
Super G on a fast section of overgrown logging road. Cross another XC ski trail to a tight, twisty and rocky ending of
Super G that will link into
Stinger at the next XC crossing.
Now the real rock beating will begin with somewhat flat terrain at the top followed by gradual descending towards the end of
Stinger. Catch your breath at the next XC trail crossing before heading down
Ho Chi Minh for another rugged, natural rocky stretch. About half way in, you'll be treated to a fun, quick double bermed downhill into some more tight, twisty rock sections climbing back to the top of the ridge.
Stay left at
Ho Chi Minh Bailout and head up towards
Bear Bones where you can catch a rest on a bit smoother section. Halfway down
Bear Bones, hang a right onto
K-Bypass for more rocks and roots on a downhill before turning back uphill to link onto
White Knuckle. Enjoy the little bit of downhill on
White Knuckle that will spill into some more rugged, rocky, rooty-ness before finishing up at the intersection with the
Advanced Loop Connector.
