Description
This trail is being developed as a training track for Centennial Middle School's mountain bike club, Young Desert Mountain Bikers of Yuma. The trail includes berm features, a 90' long curb-ride called "The Skinny", rollers, tabletop and some short steep bits. There are features at each of the 4 corners. Naming honors have been given to Centennial's bike team. The southwest berm feature has been named "Shipyard", The southeast feature is "Fruit Loops", the east side is "Morning Glory". The north side of the track is called "North Shore".
Development is ongoing. Be sure to do a check ride on your first lap. Feel free to attempt rough sections that haven't been finished. Do not ride any wet portions. Features added this year include an elevated, narrow ridge line and a short rock garden option on Morning Glory and a challenging series of slabs on North Shore.
As features are added, there are more opportunities to choose a technical line. While several of these will overwhelm a beginner rider, all have easy option. Pick up the pace and choose the challenge line and the difficulty level quickly increases.
