West Magnolia: Winter Fat Bike Groomed Loop

Pilot program to groom multi-use nordic trails in West Magnolia. NATO and Boulder Nordic have been working with the Forest Service to groom a loop in West Magnolia. The loops are on Forest Service roads approved for grooming by the USFS. Many options for packing singletrack off of this route are available.

There are many route options and can be ridden in either direction. Many singletrack options can be packed in as well with snowshoes, skis, or fat bikes. There are also many places to park and this ride can start at any access point.

Eventually, there may be a gate on Haul Rd at the beginning of this route. From the parking area, head west on Haul Rd CR 132 West, turn left at 355.1A and ride the western loop clockwise (flows best this way). Follow 355.1A and continue on 355.1C. Turn right at the junction with 355.1. Follow this to the junction with Haul Road CR 132 West, go right. Continue to 355.1C and go right, ride this loop counter clockwise or clockwise.

Turn left on 355.1D, follow that around until the junction with 355.1C and go right to return to the trailhead. The route is all on Forest Service roads and is rolling terrain without any significant climbs or descents.
