How to reach to the trail:
First of all, the bikers must reach to Melik Village by car. Please, use taxi service with taximeters.

Biking trail description:
This trail is very promising with the natural panoramic views and biking feelings. It starts from Melik Village in the Aragatsotn Province and ends in Meghradzor Village of the Kotayk Province. The trail has solid ground and drastic ascents. It passes through two provinces which is why has diverse climate and landscape.

Monuments description:
On the way, bikers may visit Ohanavank, a monastery constructed in the 5-13 Centuries, that is situated in Ohanavan, and was considered as a favorite educational center for all Armenians. The next beautiful monument is Saghmosavank, a monastery constructed in the 13th Century, in Saghmosavan Village, which is a very unique monastery complex with extraordinary ornaments. Another favorite destination is the Alphabet Boulevard, located on the slopes of the Mount Aragats, where are placed all the Armenian letters engraved from the tough stone with unique ornaments.

Flora:
Tsaghkunyats Sierra is mainly forested. The climate is wet, which is why the mountains are covered with oak, hawthorn, and sesame trees. The village has a soft climate, which is why it is possible to meet wild apple and pear trees in the forests.

Fauna:
This trail is full of adventures, as on the way the bikers can meet wolves, foxes, wild rabbits, etc. The birds, too, are loose in the forest and field, along with whale, quail, reindeer, and woodpecker. Also, during the hot season, the snakes are also evident on the slopes of the mount.
