This trail begins at the Zweiseenblick ("Two Sees View") where you can indeed see two lakes: the Schluchsee and the Titisee. This is supposedly one of the best viewpoints in the Schwarzwald (Black Forest).
A short section of gnarly singletrack quickly gives way to the standard gravel forest road you find throughout the Schwarzwald (Black Forest). This section of the trail passes through a boggy area and there are some 0.5-1 m (2-3 ft) wide north shore type wooden structures to keep you out of the muck.
Along the way if you look to the south, you'll see the Herzogenhorn, which is the second highest point in the Schwarzwald at 1415 m (4642 ft).
This road intersects with Zweiseenblickweg just before the overview.
