Overview

This ride starts at Comite River Park and connects to Hooper Road Park via the Connection Trail, located near marker 23. This ride is comprised of doing a full Comite loop, a full Hooper Loop, and Connection Trail twice, once going to Hooper, and then back from Hooper.

Description

Start out at Comite and ride until you see the Connection Trail carsonite sign after marker 22 on the right hand side of the trail. Shortly after, take a left instead of continuing on Comite. This will send you down to Connection Trail along the Cypress Bayou. Be careful as parts of Connection are always washed out by rainstorms, which makes many parts of the trail very sketchy.

Once you cross under the bridge and climb the opposite end, you'll see a private driveway that is usually gated off. Continue on the small trail that runs perpendicular to the road near the bamboo/cane. This is Powerline Trail. Continue down Powerline until you see the Hooper Road Trailhead. Go left of the sign and finish your Hooper Road lap.

You'll eventually end up back at this Trailhead sign. Head back to Comite via Connection Trail. Once you are back to Comite, continue onward and finish your Comite lap and you are done! Enjoy!
