Overview

The only challenge is a rock garden descent at the beginning. This ride has flowy turns and good traction.

Need to Know

$3 per person state park entrance fee. Camping available, too. Or camp for free at nearby Falcon Heights Campground.

Description

There's minimal elevation change throughout this loop. The route starts with a minor rock garden descent, but from there, it is all flowy corners with generally good traction. Spiky thorns off the trail encourage good cornering technique.

Starting at the headquarters building, by the restroom and dump station, follow Whitebrush Trail to Woodlands Trails to Desert Trail to Verdin Trail to Roadrunner Trail. Each flows pretty seamlessly into the next, and Roadrunner Trail will end right back at Park Road 46 and the headquarters building.
