This loop is not hard, but unless you have someone shuttle you to the Col de Braus, getting here is. The loop starts at an intersection of several forest roads and singletracks called la Baisse du Pape. Here, the GR510: Col de Braus to Sospel takes you to the Col de Braus with road access or back to Sospel.

The loop wraps around the namesake Cime du Farguet (1187 m; 3894 ft). The forest breaks along places in the southern portion of the loop offering a spectacular view of the Cote d'Azur and Nice which is easily identifiable by its airport some 20 miles away.
