Overview

This park has so many trails, it's just crazy. Some of the sections are like a bowl of noodles with lots of twists, but still very fun. This loop heads southeast from the parking off Braddock Mill Rd, linking together a few favorites. With the number of trails, there are many more options to create your own ride.

Need to Know

Free parking, two toilets.

Description

My first mountain bike ride with the Club was here, and I have to say it was an amazing experience. I fell a few times, but riding with a group just makes you feel welcome. The Friends of the Black Run Preserve keep adding more trails, so the park keeps growing.

This clockwise loop can be ridden in a number of different ways depending on time and ability.

Nice, easy and fun. It's a good winter riding destination since it dries well and the will not be the dreaded ticks and chiggers. 8.3mi — 1h 12m

First time here and it's an awesome place. It felt like you could ride for hours there are so many trails and one offs to the main loop. 5mi

Follow the 5K and take a detour on "REI coop" trail, you'll like it if you're into MTB. It has lost of turns and twists with moderate tree roots. 6.4mi
