Description

The only trail that is listed as "expert" on the local trail maps and it certainly deserves it. I was entirely unprepared for the level of tech that it offers. The trail starts out as relatively flat with some moderate rock gardens and interspersed dirt trail. However, don't be fooled by the first half mile. Each rock feature progressively gets longer, steeper, and more challenging as you move throughout the trail. By the end of the first mile, the areas of dirt trail that previously offered the rider some respite are nowhere to be found.

If you're still not feeling challenged, next comes nearly a mile of blistering downhill and, you guessed it, it's all through a massive rock garden. The trail empties out onto the middle of Bomb Dog, rewarding the rider's efforts with blissful and fast downhill. If pedal-striking, crank-smashing, tailbone-bruising torture is your thing, then look no further.
