Need to Know
You can get some food at the village of las Terrazas. Parking is possible at Lago Palmar or Las Terrazas Village. This track combines very well with
La Serrafina or
Las Peladas and all three can be done in one day.
Description
Just before the campsite, take a left and head on to the trail. The first section is steep and rocky, then it gets a bit mellower. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the track on the way up, as there are some challenging parts, with channels, loose rocks, roots and fallen trees all the way up.
On top, you'll have a splendid view of the surrounding area and find a monument to Che Guevara.
The way down is the same as the way up.
