Overview

Tokyo Drift is the mellowest of the three black diamond trails that take off from mid-elevation of Tokul West, and most of the trail is smooth and fast. This one is an area favorite because of its speed and variety of terrain.

Need to Know

Tokul West is private property in the Snoqualmie Forest and is managed by Campbell Global, LLC. All entry (including foot and bicycle) requires the purchase of an access permit. Individual permits can be purchased for $8 daily or $50 annually via purchase from CG's website at: sqrecreation.com/

Description

Tokyo Drift starts with a steep roll-in (which can be skipped by entering the trail from the service road just below) and immediately transitions to a fast flow section with optional gap jumps.

After this, you reach two roll-able drops in quick succession. The second of these drops is marked by a large tree root crossing left-to-right; it's recommended to stop and look at this feature when riding the trail the first time (don't overthink it; the best line is straight).

After that it's back over the rear tire with two sections of steep corners, and finally another fast and flowing section that ends with a steep rut into a tight left turn back to the service road.
