Need to Know
From the main trailhead, restrooms are located at the playground just north and at the main park visitor center a short ride to the west.
Description
Tour de Wolf is a two way trail but most riders take it clockwise. There are multiple parking areas in the park with access to the trail, but the main trailhead as it the west end close the the playground. There is good signage throughout marking the trail. There are a few low spots that stay wet and muddy after a good rain so please allow time to dry.
You'll start with winding singletrack through a wooded area and alternate with open fields and other short wooded sections. No difficult technical areas, but be prepared for some rooty sections with small drops off some.
Dogs are supposed to be leashed on most of the trail, but you'll see some off-leash, especially close to the large dog park above the northeast section. The park does have horses that use their own trail but riders have been known to wander onto sections of TdW. Watch for trailbombs...
Memphis is hot in the summer and the open field sections can be a sweatfest. Be prepared for the heat!
