Family Friendly An easy paved trail with many picnic areas along the way. A few small sections of road are used to connect.

Need to Know

This path can be started from pretty much anywhere and ridden in either direction. Easy parking at most sections. There are many short sections of singletrack dirt trails along both sides of the river. There are a few blocks here and there that are ridden on the road to connect parts of the trail system, but very minimal.

Description

Head south from Division Ave Trail Access in Eugene. This is a nice paved path, with some short sections of singletrack (short sections of road can be used as an alternative), that follows the river through most of Eugene.

Overall, this is a great paved trail that passes many nice parks close to downtown Eugene, with access to Skinner Butte Park and Owen Rose Garden (bikes allowed inside, but must be walked).

There are many bridges along the way that you can cross to ride the Northeast Side of the Willamette River Trail.
